Ms. Landeros

Ms. Landeros, Director of Bands

M.Ed. – Educational Leadership, University of Texas at Arlington
B.M. – Music Education, University of Texas at Austin

About me:

This is Ms. Landeros’s first year at Michael R. Null Middle School, and she is thrilled to be part of the NMS Band program. A proud Double Reed player, Ms. Landeros has a deep love for both music and education.

Before joining the team at Null, she taught at C.E. King Middle School in Sheldon ISD and spent seven years at Nimitz High School in Aldine ISD. These experiences have shaped her as an educator, allowing her to help students build strong musical foundations and develop a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts.

Ms. Landeros is passionate about creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where students feel empowered to grow as musicians and individuals. She strives to foster independent learners who take pride in their work, collaborate with others, and develop both discipline and creativity through music.

Outside the classroom, Ms. Landeros enjoys traveling across the country, exploring new places, and trying a variety of outdoor adventures. Whether hiking, kayaking, or simply enjoying nature, she finds that time outdoors helps her recharge and brings fresh inspiration to her teaching.
